According to OIT, users can opt out of the Buckeyemail system by changing their forwarding address to something other than their name.n@buckeyemail.osu.edu. To do this, first go to the Account Management Page, and click on the Change Delivery tab. Then, enter your OSU username/password, set the drop-down menu to Forward my e-mail and enter in an e-mail address other than your name.#@buckeyemail.osu.edu. Important: Make sure you have backed up your e-mails from the Buckeyemail system to somewhere else. Within the hour, someone from OIT should have deleted your account (and all messages in it), and your e-mail should forward to the address you entered.
