Contact

Do not use this form to submit technical support questions; they will be ignored! Your technical inquiries are always welcome, but they should be submitted to our mailing list (please register first) so everyone has a chance to respond, not here. There are only a couple of people monitoring this contact form, and usually when somebody posts a question here nobody knows the answer, but there is a good chance somebody on the list will be able to help you. If you wish to get notified of a response to your question instead of just reading our list for replies, you should read this and consider registering.

For anything that is not tech support, fill out this form to contact the OSU Open Source Club. Please select the appropriate category to ensure your message is sent to the right people. If you don't select a category, your message will be deleted and you will have to start over. If you are having trouble using the form below, you can e-mail us directly at info [at] opensource [dot] osu [dot] edu. Otherwise, using this form and selecting the appropriate category below will ensure you get a faster response.

  • For questions or comments about our Autumn 2011 LAN Party, use the "LAN Party category.
  • If you would like to contact the club's officers, such as for membership questions, issues pertaining to the open source community, or other general questions or concerns (what we do, where we meet, what is open source), use the "General inquiries" category.
  • For any technical problems with our website (including broken links), access to our servers (your kerberos account), or either of our mailing lists, use the "Technical Support" option.
  • If you believe you have found objectionable/illegal content (e.g. DMCA violations), a security problem on our website, or a complaint that does not fit in any other category, please select the "Report abuse" category.
  • For general software support questions, or for general issues not covered above, please use our mailing list (opensource [at] cse [dot] ohio-state [dot] edu); there are only a couple administrative members monitoring this form, and a lot more people who will see your message on the mailing list, meaning you will probably get a better and faster response.
