As some may have heard ...
This year's "VM and Linux Workshop" is happening
June 28 (Thu) through 30 (Sat) at the University of Kentucky in Lexington.
Last year's workshop was held at OSU and was awesome.

To be clear, the focus is mainframe virtualization and Linux.
If you are working with z/VM or with "Linux on System z", this
conference is for you! (Unfortunately, OSU shut down their z/VM system
just before the workshop last year. Go figure.)

This Thursday at 4:00pm in Smith Lab we'll be having another Code Jam. Come by and sit down with other developers on campus. Discuss everything from HTML and Javascript to Ruby and PHP. Focused primarily on web based development everyone is welcome to attend.

Hi All,

Tomorrow is another Code Jam. Once again we'll be in 4187 Smith Lab hacking on some code starting at 4:00pm. Come out and meet other web developers on campus and talk about the latest in the development world. Are you stuck on a particularly tough problem? Bring it to Code Jam and we'll see if we can help.

Code Jam is a weekly meetup of developers on campus interested in sharing ideas, hacking on some code and getting more involved with the OSU development community. This is an open format meeting that starts at 4:00 pm in 4187 Smith Lab unless otherwise noted.

We all like pizza at the meetings, and this is how we pay for it: we get paid $100 / hour to volunteer at E-Council events. The newest one is ArchE-Week, so if I could get some volunteers for this, it would be great. I'm available for everything except game night, so I've already volunteered for those. building just one or two apps to building a complete self hosting
